Of Many Things
Watch the Mail

Soon you will receive a letter from me (sent postal mail) asking each family to make a concerted and sincere effort to increase their weekly offertory contribution. The letter outlines the need for this, and the utmost importance that this takes on in these challenging economic times. There is a pledge card enclosed which allows for a formal commitment. If every family made an effort, our success will be great. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Sign invites all

By now you no doubt noticed the new sign gracing the front of the church. It announces our name and Mass and Confession schedules. It is visible from the Green and intersecting roads. No longer will people, especially visitors, have to wonder about our new Mass schedule. The sign is the Eagle Scout project of Alexander Pitetti, who showed great initiative in conceiving and designing the sign. When I visited Alexander and his friends (his grandfather was even in town from Florida) last Sunday as they were hard at work, I was quite proud of all of them. Thanks, Alexander, for a job well done! The next newsletter will highlight the two recent Eagle Scout projects.

Newsletter: latest issue out

Just keeps getting better! Bravo! Sent out via e-mail, it is chock full of pictures and great news items. I can’t say enough about it…congrats to Ellen Buckley and Rich Beebe and all the contributors. Wow!

In Christ’s joy,
