Be It Resolved

It is quite popular to begin a New Year with a host of resolutions. We may want to quit smoking, go on a diet and eat in a more healthy way, exercise more, get more sleep, etc.  Some may even resolve to be nicer, more patient, or more understanding of others.

Whatever our resolution, we begin with the best intentions to follow through.  As 2013 gives way to 2014, we should recognize that God is ever Faithful in Christ and God is resolved to love us perfectly and completely.  It is God’s resolution to love us unconditionally.

Bask in God’s resolution, take comfort in it, claim it.  No matter if our resolutions falter by Valentine’s Day—it is God Who is ever Faithful.

Happy New Year 2014!!!

Christ’s Blessings in the New Year,

Fr.  Dennis J. Vincenzo

I am pleased to announce that Annette Williams is the new lay member of the corporation (trustee) as of January 1, 2014.  Annette joins Tom Proulx in advising me on fiscal matters in the parish.  Annette replaces Arlene Sullivan who served with distinction for several years.  I thank Arlene personally for her care and concern for our parish family, and welcome Annette with joy.
